in quatitative research defines charcter like that,
for example take questionnaire it described the character of people, but scoring is in numerical. Is it quantitative or mixed?Hi,
Even though it describes characteristics of people, these characteristics are measured using numerical scores, which is the hallmark of quantitative methodology, especially if your questionnaire contains closed-ended questions.
If your study includes:
Open-ended questions with narrative or descriptive responses (qualitative),
and statistical questions with numeric scoring (quantitative), then it becomes a mixed methods study.Thank u
